Anti-Graffiti
Micro Grant Murals
In 2008 the City of Minneapolis Division of Solid Waste and Recycling provided
micro grants for innovative graffiti prevention projects. The program supported
community-based organizations with innovative projects designed to remove
and prevent graffiti. Of the 17 funded projects, 10 used public art to discourage
graffiti, resulting in 23 new murals and an artistic utility box project.
