Pet Rescue ProgramsMinneapolis Animal Care & Control (MACC) is committed to finding good homes for all adoptable animals. Pet rescue groups play an important role in the placement of healthy and treatable animals. Each year, MACC places hundreds of animals with our rescue partners. MACC works with pre-approved rescue groups that undergo a rigorous screening process to ensure safe, responsible placement of our animals. Although we are always looking for rescue groups that take all breeds, MACC particularly seeks pit bull and cat rescue groups. If your rescue group is interested in working with us, please call 311.
