Minneapolis Animal Care & Control: Working with residents to create safe and healthy communities for people and animals.

Minneapolis Animal Care & Control Advisory Board

The Minneapolis Animal Care & Control Advisory Board assists Minneapolis Animal Care & Control (MACC) with a number of policy and community outreach activities. This board represents the animal community and brings their voice to MACC policies and processes.

MACC estimates that over 100,000 pets reside in Minneapolis – nearly a quarter of all residents own a pet. With such a large number of our residents involved with animals (in addition to the businesses/non-profits that support them), the creation of an Advisory Board is critical to developing MACC programs and ordinances and furthering its mission.

Board members are selected by MACC and appointed through the open appointments process for two-year terms and meets quarterly.
