Ways to Help the Animals
Minneapolis Animal Care & Control works with residents to create safe and healthy communities for people and animals. We know that our work is significantly positively impacted by caring and passionate people who want to lend a hand for animals in need.
We encourage you to find ways to help out that meet your interests, time commitment and abilities. Some folks are able to Donate financial and inkind gifts to the animal shelter. Others give their time by Volunteering.
A new initiative for 2013 is our Community Champions Program. Are you able to coordinate a group of people to collect needed items for the animals at the shelter? Maybe your work colleagues, a youth or scout troop, or a faith-based group might be interested in helping out. MACC is always eager to receive the following items for our dogs and cats:
- Dog & Cat Food (unopened and not expired)
- Dog & Cat Treats (unopened and not expired)
- Financial Donations
