Pet of the Week - October 15, 2019

"Sugar Bear" A330130

Sugar Bear is an approximately 3 year old neutered male Pit Bull. He came to the shelter as a stray nearly a month ago. Sugar Bear is a short stud-muffin, but what he lacks in size he makes up with in personality! He has participated in our playgroups and does better with female dogs than other male dogs it seems. Slow introductions to any existing pet is ALWAYS recommended regardless! Sugar Bear does have some mild skin issues that is likely due to allergies, but something for his adopter to be aware of. He seems to know some basic commands, but also likes to jump up (even on counters!) so will need continued work on his manners. Come meet this sweet boy!

In honor of Adopt a Shelter Dog Month - Sugar Bear's adoption fee has been waived!
