City of Minneapolis Off-Leash Dog Parks

There are a number of designated off-leash parks available for you and your dog’s enjoyment. A special permit is needed to use the parks (see below).

Off-Leash Park Permits can be obtained through the Minneapolis Park Board or on-site at MACC.

Off-Leash Park Permit Application

Minneapolis residents must have pet licenses for their dogs.  Failure to license your animal will result in an administrative citation of at least $100. To purchase your license, go to: Pet Licenses
