Provides well-managed, high-quality housing for eligible families and individuals; to increase the supply of affordable rental housing in the metropolitan area; and to assist public housing residents in realizing their personal goals for economic independence and self-sufficiency.

9 members, two of whom are public housing residents (one from family and one from highrise). The board members are appointed by the Mayor and City Council members.
All appointments are made using the City's open appointment process.
