Provides well-managed, high-quality housing for eligible families and individuals; to increase the supply of affordable rental housing in the metropolitan area; and to assist public housing residents in realizing their personal goals for economic independence and self-sufficiency.

9 members, two of whom are public housing residents (one from family and one from high-rise). The board members are appointed by the Mayor and City Council members.
All appointments are made using the City's open appointment process.
