Nicollet Avenue Paving - Phase 2

Project Type:
The proposed project is approximately 1 mile in length and is along Nicollet Avenue from Lake St to 40th Street.  The street was originally constructed in 1954 and asphalt overlay was done in 1977.  The proposed roadway will consist of two traffic lanes (one each way) and parking on both sides.  The project will include removal and replacement of the pavement, curb and gutter, driveways sidewalks, and storm drain inlets.

Project Limits:

The project is located in south Minneapolis on Nicollet Ave between Lake Street and 40th Street.  Phase 1, between Lake St and 36th St is now complete.  Phase 2 will be done in 2013 between 36th St and 40th St.

Construction Start Date:
The proposed project is scheduled to start May, 2012

Length of Construction:
Phase II will be completed in the 2013 construction season.
