Absent: Council Member Goodman
(Majority vote of all members, 7; 2/3 vote of all members, 9)

1. Welcome to Minneapolis' 150th Anniversary Celebration from Council President Barbara Johnson.

2. Roll call. 12-0

3. Adoption of the agenda.

Action Taken: Adopted.

4. Remarks:

Laura Waterman Wittstock, former Minneapolis Library Board member and member of the Seneca Tribe;

Lou DeMars, former City of Minneapolis Council President;

Tony Williams, Minneapolis Youth Congress

Resolutions

5. Donation:

Passage of Resolution authorizing the City of Minneapolis to accept various gifts given to assist the City in celebrating the City of Minneapolis Sesquicentennial.

Action Taken: Approved.

6. Sesquicentennial:

Passage of Resolution Celebrating the Sesquicentennial of Minneapolis.

Action Taken: Approved.

Dedication

7. Dedication of the "Great Seal of Minneapolis" (Minneapolis City seal) in the Council Chambers.

Announcements

8. A reception in the City Hall rotunda, hosted by Mayor R.T. Rybak, will immediately follow adjournment of the City Council meeting.
