Health, Environment, Civil Rights & Engagement Committee (HECRE)

Exercises primary oversight of policies and service delivery related to public health and social service programs, develops programs to promote a sustainable city, champions civil rights, equity, immigration and the City’s status as a welcoming community, and provides direction and coordination on neighborhood and community engagement initiatives.

Members: Cunningham (chair); Gordon (vice-chair); Jenkins; Cano; Schroeder; and Johnson

Meetings: Mondays at 1:30 p.m. in the first week of the Council cycle
