Mission: To close the workforce skills gap in the high tech economy by building a path for diverse workers to access training, support and tech jobs across the Greater Minneapolis Region.
About MSP TechHire
In response to the growing need for tech workers in the Minneapolis Saint Paul region, the City of Minneapolis partners with high-quality, accelerated learning programs to quickly skill up job seekers looking to enter the tech industry. Long-standing partners in this work include PRIME Digital Academy, Creating IT Futures – IT Ready, Jewish Family and Children’s Services, The Software Guild, Minnesota Computers for Schools, Takoda Institude and York Solutions. Since the effort began in 2015, more than 1,600 people have graduated from tech trainings through MSP TechHire and 1,322 of them are now working as tech professional with one of our 500 employer partners. April is Tech Month in the City of Minneapolis. We have a month of exciting events ranging from family and kid-friendly events to job training, networking, speakers, tours, and more. Come and take a look a the tech scene in our City, there’s so much happening! Our vibrant local tech scene welcomes you to join in, participate, and celebrate. Check out the links in the calendar to find an event for you. Our goal is to make tech accessible to all whether you want to learn more about how to use tech in your life, want to see if a career in tech is right for you, or find out about tech resources in your community.

- IT Ready Business Analyst Training Now Accepting Applications
Creating IT Futures has launched a NEW IT-Ready Business Analyst class. Applications for this class are due on June 14 and the class will begin on July 13. More information or to apply.
