Adult Programs

These programs provide assistance to low-income Minneapolis residents, ages 18 and older, in finding and retaining employment or pursuing vocational training that will lead to a job. The Minneapolis Employment and Training Program (METP) provider system is community based, through a number of nonprofit agencies. Contact an agency to learn what services they provide.

• The Individual Referral Program (IRP) provides tuition funds and assists low-income residents seeking employment-related training.
• The iseek website provides information related to education and career research.
• Another resource for job seekers is MinnesotaWorks.
• Construction Careers provides information about the construction trades.
• A variety of services are offered through the Minnesota Workforce System.
• WorkForce Center Locations are available throughout Minnesota.
