Candidate Filings
Candidate filing for the 2013 Minneapolis municipal election begins Tuesday, July 30 and runs through Tuesday, August 13.
During that time, candidates running for Mayor, City Council, Board of Estimate and Taxation, and Park and Recreation Board can file for candidacy Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at MInneapolis Elections and Voter Services, 350 S. Fifth St, in room 1B on the ground floor.
Candidate filing closes at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13. The deadline for withdrawal is 5 p.m. Thursday, August 15. Once the candidate filing period is open, filings will be posted daily on this website.
