2010 Election Information*

February 2 Precinct Caucus info including Precinct Caucus Finder is posted at both

• Minnesota Secretary of State
• Hennepin County Elections

Visit www.sos.state.mn.us to view the political parties' straw poll results for their gubernatorial candidates.

Beginning Tuesday evening, political parties will self-report straw poll results into the SOS caucus reporting system. 

The Web site will be updated real time as results come in.

July 6–20 Candidate Filing *

September 14 Primary *

November 2 General Election

* The Military and Overseas Empowerment Act may require Minnesota to move our Primary to August or earlier to provide for a 45-day absentee balloting period.  Moving the Primary to an earlier date will also change the dates of Candidate Filing. Any decision along these lines is the responsibility of the legislature.
