Pollution Control Annual Registration (PCAR)
Minneapolis Environmental Services sends out an annual registration to business owners, property owners, and landlords in the City of Minneapolis. This registration is required for any equipment in businesses and buildings that potentially creates pollution, commonly referred to as an impact fee. Such equipment cannot be operated without proper registration.
PCAR submission and payment ensures the equipment or item has been inspected, maintained and is functioning satisfactorily.

Important dates
PCAR Mail Date: Last Friday or last business day of December each year.
PCAR Due Date: January 31st of each year.
Please note: If your PCAR License is not renewed by January 1st, additional fees up to 40% will be added on to the current year's principle. Contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
