Commercial Building Rating and Disclosure Policy
The Regulatory, Energy and Environment Committee of the Minneapolis City Council will consider amending Chapter 47 of the Minneapolis Code of ordinances, related to establishing a Commercial Building Rating and Disclosure policy. If approved, this policy would be applied to relevant buildings within the City of Minneapolis.

Rating Disclosure Policy Overview
Minneapolis Environmental Services is responsible for creating environmental ordinances, developing programs, responding to complaints, carrying out investigations in the City of Minneapolis and enforcing the City’s environmental codes. We work with county and state government agencies, watershed districts, non-profit organizations and others with the goal of protecting the quality of our natural resources.

To file a complaint regarding air quality, odors, noise, water pollution, illegal dumping, chemical spills or any complaint regarding an environmental ordinance or permit violation, call Minneapolis 311 or complete the Environmental Management Online Complaint Form.
