Minneapolis Environmental Services is responsible for addressing pollution in Minneapolis. We do this by developing innovative programs, responding to complaints, permitting environmentally sensitive work, carrying out investigations in the City of Minneapolis, and enforcing environmental codes. We work with county and state government agencies, watershed districts, non-profit organizations and others with the goal of protecting human health and the quality of our natural environment.
