Environmental Services - Land

Minneapolis Environmental Services has taken a proactive approach in managing brownfields, Superfund sites, and other contaminated land throughout the City. The Contaminated Sites Working Group oversees aboveground and underground storage tank removals and installations, responds to complaints about industrial waste and oil spills, and conducts environmental reviews of properties. Through the Brownfields Management Program, the City of Minneapolis is also taking the initiative on cleaning up brownfields for redevelopment.

For information on current Minneapolis Land Pollution Management Programs or to file a complaint regarding illegal industrial dumping or oil spills, use the Environmental Management E-mail Form or call our general number at 612-673-5897.
