Illegal Dumping
Illegal dumping is the disposal of waste at a location other than where it was generated. Illegal dumping can happen on residential, commercial or industrial property. Materials that are commonly dumped include construction debris, trash, tires, automotive fluids, household appliances and other waste. Property owners are responsible for cleaning up their own property. See Environmental Services Illegal Dumping information sheet for ideas for clean up, disposal and preventing illegal dumping.

If you see illegal dumping in the City of Minneapolis, please report it. Write down the license plate number, vehicle description and what was dumped.
