Environmental Health and Food Safety

The Minneapolis Division of Environmental Health works with the community to maintain a safe food supply and a high level of sanitation throughout all licensed facilities, respond to environmental health complaints of regulated facilities, prevent and respond to water-borne illness outbreaks, and prevent contamination of Minneapolis ground water aquifers.

The Minneapolis Division of Environmental Health works closely with the Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Department of Agriculture to ensure that all establishments in Minneapolis also comply with state regulations.
