History station 7

Originally opened as Station I in March 1884 at 2105 East Franklin Avenue South. On January 12,1891 the department was reorganized and Station I became Station 7. In 1887 a two-story veterinary infirmary was added at the rear of the station. It was relocated in 1937 to 2011 21st Avenue South (currently occupied as a religious organization) and was relocated in 1962 to its present location at 2000 East Franklin Avenue with Engine 5 and Ladder 3
