Thank you to SPNN!  The City is a proud partner of the CTEP AmeriCorps Program.

The IT Department, in partnership with Civil Rights, Community Planning and Economic Development, and the North Minneapolis WorkForce Center has participated in SPNN's Community Technology Empowerment Project (CTEP) AmeriCorps Program to address the digital divide as it relates to the racial employment disparity in Minneapolis. IT was selected as one of 32 host sites throughout the Twin Cities to participate in the 2013 – 2015 program years, and the City continues to be involved as an ongoing partner.

The AmeriCorps at the North Minneapolis WorkForce center includes direct service with Minneapolis residents along with capacity building and civic engagement projects.
