Guest Services Ambassador -- Temporary/Permit -- Minneapolis Convention Center

The Guest Services Ambassador is a customer service position responsible for greeting and also checking coats/luggage for the guests and visitors of the Convention Center, communicating effectively to direct the flow of traffic, and assisting guests with questions regarding the Convention Center and the City of Minneapolis. Director of Housing Development and Policy

The City of Minneapolis Department of Community Planning and Economic Development (CPED) is hiring a new Director of Housing Development and Policy. The Director of Housing Development and Policy will lead all housing development activities for the City of Minneapolis including manage and provide leadership to a staff of approximately 35 employees charged with implementing CPED housing policies to ensure that the housing development mix is aligned with desired outcomes. Intergovernmental Relations Department for the City of Minneapolis

The City of Minneapolis Office of Intergovernmental Relations (IGR) is looking for a full-time, temporary intern. The position is for up to six months starting in January 2015. It is designed to provide an opportunity to a recent graduate from undergrad or graduate school. Successful applicant will work closely with Intergovernmental Relations staff as they advocate for the City of Minneapolis’ legislative agenda at the state legislature. Applicant should have an understanding of the Minnesota State Legislature and an interest in legislative/local government policy issues.
