Alcohol Licenses

The Licenses and Consumer Services Division of the City of Minneapolis regulates approximately 600 liquor establishments. Our goal is to provide professional and expedited application review and approval services; routine inspections to ensure safe operating practices, community forums for networking and education; and ongoing partnerships with licensees, neighborhood organizations and policymakers to encourage successful endeavors.
