Business License Fee Schedule
Staff is recommending a 2% increase, rounding to the nearest $5, for all business license fees except for those listed below. Here is a copy of the 2020 proposed license fees (June 21, 2019).
- Pet adoption fees
- Fees with state statutory limits (some of the liquor licenses, vending machines)
- Some licenses and permits for charitable organizations/purposes
Exclusive Tobacco Shops - Minimum Distance Required between Stores
Any new tobacco shop that sells flavored tobacco must be at least 3,000 feet away from any other tobacco shop which also sells flavored tobacco products. This distance requirement does not apply to the B4 zoning district. Here is a copy of the proposed amendment to Chapter 281 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances.
