Farmers Market Applications Now Available for 2013
If you are interested in participating in a market this summer, applications are available for vendors who are selling foods for both immediate consumption (Market Manufacturer) and off-site consumption (Market Distributor).  A license is not required for vendors exempted by state statute but you must register with the City of Minneapolis.

Applications are also available for Mobile Food VehiclesShort-Term Food PermitsSeasonal Short-Term Food Permits, and Sidewalk Food Carts are also available. 

Exhibitons, Temporary Markets and Flea Markets 
The Minneapolis City Council will consider amendments to Chapter 321 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances.  If approved, licenses will be available for temporary markets commonly known as flea markets.  A public hearing is scheduled on April 4, 2013 at 1:30 pm in Room 317 City Hall.

Brochures and videos for business owners, license applicants, and customers are available in our electronic library.  Topics include hailing a taxi, hiring a contractor, hosting a catered event, and more.  Information is also available in Español, Hmoob, and Soomaaliga. No library card required.
