Minneapolis Taxicabs
The Licenses and Consumer Services Division regulates approximately 500 taxi vehicles and 1300 drivers in Minneapolis. Our goal is to provide an adequate supply of safe, affordable, and reliable taxi services to our residents and visitors. Our priorities include:

New Numbers for all Taxicab Vehicles effective February 1, 2013
Information on the new numbering system for Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Metropolitan Airports Commission taxicabs will be sent to all Minneapolis taxicab vehicle owners with your renewal applications.
Taxi Drivers’ Licenses Expire June 30, 2012
Renewal applications for 2013 licenses are due now. If we do not receive your application by June 15, 2012, we cannot guarantee your Service Company will receive your new license by June 30th. Duplicate Billing Statements (gray sheets) are available at our office. All applications submitted after June 30, 2012 must add a 20% late fee. Taxi Stands
