Critical Parking Permits
The Public Works Department and Minneapolis Development Review are pleased to announce a significant improvement in the delivery of our customer services. On Monday August 17, 2009 Minneapolis Development Review will welcome a Public Works counter presence at the service center. As a result, in addition to being able to accept Encroachment Applications for our Preliminary Development Review Customers, we will now be able to issue Critical Parking Permits here in the service center.
Critical Parking Areas are residential on-street permit parking areas that are intended to provide relief to neighborhood residents from parked vehicles by persons who have no association with the residents or businesses in the neighborhood.
Critical Parking Permits are required to park in designated Critical Parking Areas during the posted times. Permits are only for licensed drivers who are residents and businesses at qualified addresses.
We are excited to be able to provide further walk in service to our valued customers! Please stay tuned for even more exciting developments as we continue integrating with Public Works.
