Passage of Resolution approving the sale of the property at 4050 3rd Ave S, (Disposition Parcel No. VH-556) to Natural Homes by John Pastuck, or an affiliated entity, for $35,200, subject to conditions.

Action Taken:  Approved.

2.    Land sale: 1115 40th St E to City of Lakes Community Land Trust (16-01326)

1.    Passage of Resolution approving the sale of the property at 1115 40th St E, (Disposition Parcel No. TF-885), to City of Lakes Community Land Trust for $34,000, subject to conditions.

2.    Authorizing the award of up to $25,000 from land sale proceeds to support affordability assistance.

3.    Authorizing necessary agreements with the City of Lakes Community Land Trust.

8.    Business Made Simple: Committee review requirements for alcohol license applications ordinance (16-00868)

Passage of Ordinance amending Title 14 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Liquor and Beer, amending provisions related to the requirement that applications for new alcohol licenses must be submitted twice to the appropriate committee of the City Council:

1.    Chapter 360 In General.

2.    Chapter 362 Liquor Licenses.

3.    Chapter 363 Wine Licenses.

4.    Chapter 366 Beer Licenses.

Considering revocation of license.

10.  Nuisance Condition Process Review Panel (NCPRP) recommendation: 111 29th St W Director's Order to raze and remove structure (16-01329)

  1. Considering adoption of the findings of the Nuisance Condition Process Review Panel to uphold the Director's Order and approve the demolition of the property located at 111 29th St W.
  2. Approving a stay of the order for demolition for 60 days.

        Action Taken:  Approved.

Passage of Resolution establishing Recycling Chute Requirements for new construction.

Action Taken: Approved.

13.  State of Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development FY2017 Equity Grants: Youth at Work Competitive Grant Program application (16-01332)

Authorizing submittal of application to the State of Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development FY2017 Equity Grants: Youth at Work Competitive Grant Program.

Action Taken: Approved.

14.  2016 Emergency Solutions Grant recommendations (16-01333)

Approving up to $414,579 of Fiscal Year 2016 Emergency Solutions Grant funds for the following capital projects:

1.    Up to $31,400 for Higher Ground located on Glenwood Avenue by Catholic Charities or an affiliate.

2.    Up to $255,000 for Harbor Light located on Currie Avenue by The Salvation Army or an affiliate, contingent upon a satisfactory inspection to confirm compliance with the current land use approvals.

3.    Up to $128,179 for House Of Peace by Asian Women United Minnesota or an affiliate.

Action Taken:  Approved.

15.  Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development’s Job Creation Fund Program application for Avenue 81, Inc., d/b/a LeadPages, Inc.: 323 Washington Ave N (16-01334)

Passage of Resolution of support for Avenue 81, Inc. DBA LeadPages, Inc’s application for financial incentives from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development’s Job Creation Fund.

Action Taken:  Approved.

16.  MacPhail Center for Music Annual Report for 2016 (16-01335)

Passage of Resolution approving the budget and the continued operation of the Governmental Program at the MacPhail Center for Music for 2016.

Action Taken: Approved.

17.  Appropriation of HOME Program Income (16-01336)

Passage of Resolution increasing the CPED HOME appropriation by $1,724,059 for additional HOME Program Income received (Refer to WM).

Action Taken:  Approved and referred to WM.

Convention Center

18.  Target Center Health Club lease modifications (16-01337)

Authorizing a third amendment to the Health Club Lease with LTF Real Estate Company, Inc., at the Target Center (Refer to WM).

Action Taken:  Approved and referred to WM.
