1. Census 2010:

a) Receive and file 2010 Census Activities Status Report.

b) Authorize contract with the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs/University of Minnesota, for Census outreach coordination. ( Refer to W&M/Budget)

2. Minneapolis Economic Recovery Strategy - Transportation Electrification Grant:

Authorize proper City Officers to submit a letter of support to the University of Minnesota for grant application under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

1. The City Council meeting of May 8, 2009, will adjourn to Room 315, City Hall, for the purpose of discussing the matters of Youna Vang Lee, as next of kin of Fong Lee v. City of Minneapolis, et al., and T.J. Management of Minneapolis d/b/a Gabby’s Saloon and Eatery v. City of Minneapolis, United States District Court File No. 08-CV-512.

2. In honor of Armed Forces Day on Saturday, May 16th, the POW/MIA flag will be on display in the Council Chambers for one week prior to that date, and will be removed on the following business day, in accordance with the POW/MIA Flag Policy for the Council Chambers.

Notice: A portion of this meeting may be closed to the public pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 13D.03 or 13D.05.
