Moss pretrial hearing rescheduled for Dec. 12
The pretrial hearing on the criminal charges brought against Minnesota Vikings Randy Moss as a result of the Sept. 24 incident involving a Minneapolis Traffic Control Officer has been rescheduled for 9:30 a.m., Dec. 12.
Moss faces the following criminal charges.
- Careless Driving. A misdemeanor violation of Minnesota Statutes [§169.13, Subd. 2]. The penalty for this violation is 0-90 days and/or $0-$1,000.
- Failure to obey order of police officer. A misdemeanor, Minneapolis Ordinance Code violation [466.130]. The penalty for this violation is 0-90 days and/or $0-$1,000.
- Improper turn at intersection/hazardous. A misdemeanor violation of Minnesota Statute [§169.19, Subd. 1 (a) & 169.89 Subd 1(a)]. The penalty for this violation is 0-90 days and/or $0-$1,000.
- Obstructing Traffic with a vehicle. A petty misdemeanor, Minneapolis Ordinance Code violation [466.230]. The penalty for this violation is $0-$300.
- Possession of a small amount of marijuana. A petty misdemeanor violation of Minnesota Statute [§152.027, Subd. 4 (a)]. The penalty for this violation is $0-$200.
