Resident input sought in developing community programs dealing with coexistence

The City of Minneapolis, along with the University of Minnesota, is seeking input in developing community programs dealing with issue of coexistence. This initiative seeks to create a global awareness, beginning at a grassroots level, and a commitment to, creating a world safe for difference. The City is looking for individuals interested in creating a new concept/program/exhibit that will be unveiled in conjunction with arrival in May of COEXISTENCE, a traveling exhibit sponsored by the Museum of Seam for Dialogue, Understanding and Coexistence in Jerusalem, Israel. The exhibit is a collection of works by 36 artists from across the world and designed to be exhibited as an outdoor exhibition in central and meaningful locations around the world.

The COEXISTENCE exhibit is scheduled to arrive in Minneapolis in May and will be featured on the North Plaza of the Hennepin County Government Center. More information about the traveling exhibit is available at http://www.coexistence.art.museum/eng/exhibitions/traveling.htm.
