Forum focuses on the future of arts in Minneapolis

Minneapolis has enjoyed an arts explosion in the last few years, but how do we use that momentum and continue to build Minneapolis’ reputation as a leader on the national arts scene? That’s the topic of a panel discussion on Thursday, June 12. The public is invited to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts to listen to a distinguished group of experts discuss the current state of arts in Minneapolis, and how to move it forward.

FOX 9 news anchor Robyne Robinson will moderate the panel that includes Kaywin Feldman, executive director, Minneapolis Institute of Arts; Philippe Vergne, deputy director and chief curator, Walker Art Center; Jocelyn Hale, executive director, Loft Literary Center; Lily Schwartz, director of Pops and Special Projects, Minnesota Orchestra; and Vickie Benson, McKnight Foundation program director for the arts. This event is free and open to the public.
