The City of Minneapolis is hosting an open house to solicit public input for a new Bicycle Master Plan. The City’s last bicycle plan was approved in 2001, and the new 2008 plan will go farther in depth, including goals, policies, design guidance, and a map of future facilities. The plan will focus on education, enforcement, engineering, encouragement, evaluation, and equity – all elements required to make a city bicycle friendly. The plan will also include a prioritized list of projects and initiatives.
