Biking classes, movies and giveaways are part of Bike Walk Week celebration

Twin Cities Bike Walk Week, set for June 9–15, is about transportation that’s fun, healthy, environmentally friendly and affordable. Participants quickly see the advantages of getting around without a car, including better health and less money spent on gas, parking and car maintenance.

Bike Walk Week is a great opportunity for frequent bikers and walkers to celebrate people-powered transportation. For folks who have never biked or walked to work, Bike Walk to Work Week is a great time to give it a try.
