Police Activities League seeks volunteers
Would you like to help young people? If so, consider volunteering with the Minneapolis
Volunteers need not be affiliated with the Minneapolis Police Department. Because coaches will be working with children ages 12 to 16; all volunteers will be asked to undergo a background check.
PAL is a youth crime prevention program that uses educational, athletic and recreational activities to build trust and understanding between police officers and youth. More than 200 Minneapolis
If soccer coaching isn’t in your skill set, the folks at PAL also are looking for volunteers to mentor youth by volunteering for fundraisers, assisting as instructors at our fitness camp, finding free activities for kids and volunteering to serve as a volleyball or basketball coach in the fall. PAL also needs volunteers to write stories about PAL activities and take pictures at PAL-sponsored events. To learn about other volunteer opportunities, visit the PAL website.
