About Nice Ride

Nice Ride Minnesota is a bike-sharing system that provides easy-to-ride, three-speed bikes at more than 100 self-service kiosks. Annual subscribers get a key they insert into the Nice Ride kiosk. With a key, subscribers don’t have to use the pay station, swipe a credit card or pay a security deposit to check out a bike.

Because Nice Ride is designed to encourage short trips, there is no charge for the first 30 minutes of every ride. If you keep the bike longer than 30 minutes, a trip fee is charged. To avoid trip fees, ride your bike to a station near your destination and check the bike into the bike kiosk. When you’re ready to return, check out another bike. That way, you’re restarting the clock for your return trip.
