Get your Nice Ride discount April 28

City employees save 70 percent on a Nice Ride membership this year. Stop by the City Hall Rotunda 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, to get the City’s code that will let you take advantage of this discount.

Can’t attend the event April 28?

If you can’t make it to City Hall April 28, request the Nice Ride discount code for City employees by emailing [email protected]. Include your full name and employee ID number in the email.

How to access your discount

Once you get the City employee discount code, visit the sign-up page on the Nice Ride website or the page to renew your subscription May 1-31 and enter your information. Select “Corporate” for the type of membership, choose “City of Minneapolis” from the drop-down list, enter your City employee discount code and then select the one-year membership option.

About Nice Ride

The Nice Ride bike-sharing program allows you to check out a bike when and where you need one and return it to any Nice Ride station. See the Nice Ride map or download the Spotcycle app to find the bike stations. Nice Ride bicycles are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week from April to November. To use Nice Ride,you need a membership or a pass.

This year, City employees get $45 off a year’s Nice Ride membership. The City contributes $30 to your membership, and Nice Ride contributes $15. That means a membership will cost just $20.

Nice Ride memberships and passes typically cost:

*A $3 usage fee is charged every 30 minutes to members whose bike trips exceed one hour. A $3 usage fee is charged every 30 minutes to pass holders whose bike trips exceed 30 minutes.

Nice Ride will launch 20 new stations in 2015, bringing the total to 190 stations for the year. The new stations are expected to be deployed mid-season, with the addition of 200 bikes to fill those stations.
