Participate in the challenge to “share a better beverage with …”
The Health Department hopes you’re thirsty. They want you to participate in the “share a better beverage with … ” challenge this summer. The challenge encourages you to share photos on social media that capture you choosing a healthy beverage instead of a sugary drink. It’s part of the department’s ReThink Your Drink: Every Sip Counts summer campaign.
Examples of better beverages include water, sparkling water, naturally flavored sparkling water, fruit-infused water, tea or coffee without sugar or a homemade smoothie.
- Like the ReThink Your Drink Minneapolis Facebook page.
- Take a selfie while enjoying a healthy beverage, and feel free to include coworkers.
- Upload the picture to the ReThink Your Drink Minneapolis Facebook page with the post: "Sharing a (insert name of healthy beverage) with (whom). I nominate (tag names of people you nominate) to share a better beverage. #betterbeverages #rethinkyourdrinkmpls #everysipcounts"
You can nominate as many people as you want to participate. If nominated, you have 24 hours to share a better beverage and upload a picture.
