Fire Department shares fall fire prevention tips for National Fire Prevention Week

As part of National Fire Prevention Week Oct. 4-10, the Minneapolis Fire Department shared these fall fire safety tips.

Prevent kitchen fires

More fires start in the kitchen than in any other part of the home. That’s why the Minneapolis Fire Department wants to make sure you know how to prevent cooking fires.

Kitchen fire safety is explained in English, Spanish, Somali and Hmong as part of the City’s “Did you know...” series of short videos on the City’s YouTube channel and cable channels 14 and 79.
