Q. How would you describe your leadership style?
A. Participative – I try to engage all stakeholders in an attempt to see all sides of the issue. Adaptive – I am always looking for ways to improve programs and processes and as such will often manage change.
Q. What do you like best about working for the City?
A. I love the fact that I have the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives in the city that I grew up in.
Q. What’s your favorite place for lunch in Minneapolis?
A. Famous Dave’s.
Q. What music are you listening to lately?
A. Musically I am still stuck in the past. Most of the music I listen to is R&B from the ‘70s and ‘80s, but I do like Mint Condition. Janet Jackson’s new CD is pretty good also.

Q. What’s your favorite movie?
A. The Godfather. I watch it again every time it comes on. There are some good leadership lessons that can be garnered from that movie.
