Learn about the 2016 employee wellness program

Save money, earn money and get more engaged with your health in 2016 with the employee wellness program online through My Health Rewards by Medica. This year, the program offers more ways than before to earn points.

New in 2016

o   100 points: $20 gift card.
o   200 points: $20 gift card.
o   300 points: Discount on 2017 health insurance premiums and $20 gift card. (In previous years, there was no gift card at this level.)
o   400 points: $20 gift card.
o   500 points: $20 gift card.

How to access My Health Rewards

If you have logged on to mymedica.com previously and do not have a new group number for your health insurance in 2016:

  1. Visit mymedica.com.
  2. Enter your username and password.
  3. Click the “Health & Wellness” tab.
  4. Click “email” at the top of the screen to update your account profile if needed with the email address where you want to receive gift card notifications.
  5. Begin working on health actions. (We recommend you complete Compass first with your 2016 health assessment. If your 2015 responses still appear, click the re-take button.)

If you have never logged on to mymedica.com or have a new group number for your health insurance in 2016: (You have a new group number if you switched networks during the most recent open enrollment period or if your health insurance premiums switched from the standard rate to the wellness rate or vice versa).

  1. Visit mymedica.com.
  2. Click “Register Now” at the bottom of the Site Login box.
  3. Complete the registration. You will need your Medica ID card for this step.
  4. Once you are logged in to mymedica.com, click the “Health & Wellness” tab.
  5. Agree to the terms of use, privacy policy and honor code, and you’ll be directed to your welcome page.
  6. Update your profile with the email address where you want to receive gift card notifications.
  7. Begin working on health actions. (We recommend you complete Compass first with your 2016 health assessment. If your 2015 responses still appear, click the re-take button.)
