Welcome Trish Glover, new director of 311
Trish Glover is the new 311 director. She will manage operations for the department, which serves as the main point of contact for local government information and services for Minneapolis residents, businesses and visitors. She will also oversee the department’s 30 employees.
Glover brings 16 years of experience in emergency communications to the City. She held progressively responsible roles as a dispatcher, trainer and member of the critical incident stress management team in 14 years with Sedgwick County, Kansas. After that, she served as director of the 911 center in Harper County, Kansas, for 2.5 years.
Glover earned her bachelor’s degree in organizational management and leadership from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. In a few weeks, she’ll finish her master’s degree in public administration with a concentration in emergency management from Walden University.
Glover is passionate about volunteer work, including with Special Olympics and Habitat for Humanity. She plans to pursue volunteer opportunities here after she gets settled.
