Give input on the draft body camera policy

Body cameras are coming to Minneapolis. The Minneapolis Police Department has released a draft of the body camera policy. When final, the policy will guide police officers in all areas of using body cameras in their work. The public can review the draft and bring questions and comments to a community engagement session:

More sessions will be posted here as they are scheduled.

If you want to share ideas, concerns or comments about the draft policy but you can’t come to a meeting, send an email to [email protected] with “Body camera policy” in the subject line. Learn more about the Police Department’s body camera program, and find a copy of the draft policy at www.insidempd.com/bodycams.
