Sign up for mindfulness training program to lower stress
The City’s Wellness Committee now offers employees free mindfulness training with tools to help manage your stress and achieve a higher state of well-being. Learn how to stabilize your mind and increase resilience through mindfulness practices including meditation and yoga.
The training lasts six weeks, with classes from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays. The first 15 minutes of class includes time for participants to eat lunch if they brought it, ask questions and talk to their peers. The lessons begin at 12:15 p.m.
You must commit to attend every class. Space is limited, and students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Choose a summer or fall training:
- Summer: Tuesdays June 28, July 12, July 19 and July 26 in the conference room at the Towle Building, 330 Second Ave. S., and Tuesdays Aug. 2 and Aug. 9 in Room B14 at the Public Service Center, 250 S. Fourth St.
