Use Firefox to access employee wellness program at mymedica.com
You may experience issues accessing the employee wellness program page at mymedica.com from a City computer using Internet Explorer or Chrome web browsers; use Firefox as your web browser. If you don’t have Firefox on your City computer, you may install it on your own. Call the IT Service Desk at 612-673-2525 if you have problems installing Firefox.
You can also access the web page using any internet browser on a smartphone, tablet or personal computer.
Many City computers have Internet Explorer as the default web browser, but Internet Explorer automatically logs out users who try to access the employee wellness program page at mymedica.com. The Information Technology Department is working with Medica to resolve the issue.
If you don’t have Firefox on your City computer, you may install it on your own without contacting the IT Service Desk.

About the employee wellness program
The employee wellness program page at mymedica.com allows you to save money, earn money and get more engaged with your health. The employee wellness program offers points for completing health-related activities. When you earn 300 points in the employee wellness program by Aug. 31, 2016, you’ll qualify for a lower wellness rate on your 2017 health insurance premiums. (In 2016, savings on the insurance premiums are about $400 a year for a single person and $1,200 a year for a family.) You’ll also receive a $20 gift card for each 100 points you earn in the program (up to $100).
