ELMS training begins soon
City employees will soon begin training for the coming Enterprise Land Management System, or ELMS. More than 500 City employees will participate in testing, training and preparing for ELMS from now until the launch of the system Oct. 3.
ELMS brings together multiple technologies, making it easier to collaborate across the City, and replaces several outdated, unsupported, inefficient systems. Learn more about ELMS on the new ELMS SharePoint site (you may need to log into the site with your City email address).
Several City employees will attend training this month on ELMS and then train their colleagues in August and September. See the training calendar.
Training includes an introductory course as well as courses on:
- Code enforcement.
- Mobile inspections.
- Electronic plan review, submission and markup.
A demonstration of the cashier feature in ELMS is now available on the training page of the ELMs SharePoint site. Look for more demos of the system coming soon.
