A more promising future
The City’s educational partnership with Augsburg College is part of the City’s response to findings from the 2014 My Minneapolis employee engagement survey. The survey found that creating a more promising future for employees would positively impact employee engagement. Discounted tuition rates provide access to more affordable educational opportunities, which can lead to career advancement.
By entering into educational partnerships, the City also establishes closer relationships with local educational institutions and students, which can help the City create pathways for the workforce of the future.
