How to select your 2017 benefits

All active employees must enroll for their 2017 benefits online in COMET by 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15. Open enrollment is paperless this year. Follow these instructions to complete your online enrollment in COMET.

The Medica Essential network will not be available in 2017. If you are currently enrolled in the Medica Essential network, you will need to choose a new network during open enrollment. If you are currently enrolled in Medica Essential and do not choose a new network during open enrollment, you will be enrolled by default into Medica Choice Passport, the most expensive network.

If you are currently enrolled in the Medica Elect or Medica Choice Passport network and do not choose a new 2017 network during open enrollment, you will be enrolled by default into your 2016 network.

Even if you choose to make no changes to your 2017 benefits, you should still log in to COMET during open enrollment to submit your benefit selections to ensure your enrollments are accurate.

Computer labs are available for employees who need computer access or help enrolling for their 2017 benefits online. Find the computer lab schedule below. The IT Help Desk is available 24/7 at 612-673-2525 to reset your password if necessary.
