Register as an exhibitor at the Community Connections Conference by March 10
Time is running out to register as an exhibitor at the sixth annual Community Connections Conference Saturday, April 1, at the Convention Center. The Neighborhood and Community Relations Department designs the conference to bring together City departments, neighborhood organizations, cultural communities, nonprofit organizations and residents to share best practices for neighborhood engagement. This year’s event theme is “Your Voice, Your City, CommUnity” with the major focus on providing innovative, new ideas to build diversity and capacity in our neighborhood organizations and communities through collaboration and participation.
Benefits of hosting an exhibit at the conference:
- Promote your work or launch a new idea.
- Get featured in the Community Connections Conference program provided to each conference participant.
- Network with a large group of active residents and neighborhood organizations who seek information, ideas and help to further their work.
City departments may participate as exhibitors for free at the conference, however exhibit space is limited so only highly interactive exhibits relevant to the conference’s theme and focus will be selected to participate. Exhibitors may set up from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 31, and from 6 to 7:15 a.m. Saturday, April 1. During the conference the exhibit space will be open to participants from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Exhibitors receive complimentary breakfast, lunch, beverages, an exhibitor table with a table skirt and two chairs. Additional tables and chairs will have a charge. Wi-fi and electrical service will be the responsibility of the exhibitor. Learn more about additional exhibitor services offered directly by the convention. To take advantage of discounted service costs, please contact the Convention Center at least 15 days before the event.
