Sign up for the next class in the Foundations of Equity certificate program

The City Coordinator’s Equity and Inclusion team is now hosting the next series of the Foundations of Equity certificate program. The second class, “Can We Really Work Together? Generational Differences at Work,” will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, in the Doty Board Room at the Minneapolis Central Library.

For the first time in history, there are five generations in the workplace. Communicating across generations is extremely important to benefit from the diversity and to let more seasoned employees transfer their valuable knowledge and skills to newer employees

Sign up via COMET to take the class in person or participate online:

  1. Log in to COMET-HR.
  2. Click “Learning and Development.”
  3. Enter keywords from the name of the class in the search (e.g. “generational”).
  4. Click “Enroll.”

The Foundations of Equity certificate program consists of five classes to foster workplace equity and inclusion. Get tools and strategies to help City workplaces value, respect and leverage diversity more. Email EquityandInclusion@mineapolismn.gov with questions.
