Last chance to save on your health insurance premiums

Don’t miss the Aug. 31 deadline to save hundreds of dollars on your health insurance premiums in 2018. You need 300 points in the employee wellness program to get the discounted wellness rate on your insurance next year. As of July 31, only 71 percent of eligible employees had completed the program. If you haven’t hit the 300-point threshold, make sure you take the time to work on some of the following options to ensure lowering your health premiums for 2018.

In 2017, savings on the insurance premiums are about $400 a year for a single person and $1,200 a year for a family.
